NAIMA BROWN

Founder of I3

Naima Brown has spent the last decade working in News & Current Affairs as a producer and filmmaker. She began her career in the Middle East, where she was a writer and journalist before spending a year in her home country on the NBC breaking news desk in New York City.

She moved to Australia in 2012. Here, she has worked across numerous networks and projects, most notably Channel Seven’s flagship news & current affairs program, Sunday Night and SBS’s award winning documentary program, Dateline.

She relocated from Sydney to Kiama in 2018 and hasn’t looked back.

KAT RUSSELL

Design & Marketing at I3

Kat was born in South Africa and moved to England with her family when she was a teenager. After studying Marketing and Sociology at Uni in England, she went on to work in many different areas of marketing in the UK, including events, copy writing, journalism, advertising and digital marketing. She moved to Australia in 2008, fell in love with an Australian man, then some time later had two babies and has settled in Ballina, where she now lives with the loves of her life!

Kat has her own graphic and web design company, Bluebury Creative. She met Naima during one of Kat’s holidays to Kiama and they have since become as close as family. Naima’s dream of bringing interesting people to Kiama has been the perfect opportunity for Kat to be involved in a fascinating project and to spend more time in one of her favourite places in the world, Kiama NSW.

JACKIE HALL

Events Conference & Marketing Coordinator at The Pavilion Kiama

Boasting over 25 years of experience within the hospitality industry, Jackie enjoys working in a the most beautiful seaside town that the South Coast has to offer which caters for all types of occasions all year round, whilst being surrounded by so many interesting local attractions that will be sure to entertain everyone. One of Jackie’s favourite hobbies is to get out for an early morning walk to inhale the fresh air. Be sure to pop by the Pavilion where you will be welcomed with a warm and cheerful smile.

With decades of experience in coordinating weddings, outdoor festivals, corporate and community events; Hopes knowledge, industry contacts and attention to detail combined with her passion for providing exceptional customer service are the key ingredients to her long and successful track record of delivering outstanding events.
A Kiama local, Hope is proud of her community and is sure to be able to offer her insight with regards to the vast array of activities and natural attraction that the area has to offer. When she’s not at work and it’s time to turn the pace down a notch you will find Hope recharging the batteries by walking the headlands, swimming at anyone of our coasts pristine beaches or cooking up a storm for her family and friends.
